Chicken Coop/Run

January 2020 – Whitefish, MT

This was a fun and straightforward build — a custom chicken coop and enclosed run designed for my family, just in time to beat the national egg price surge!

While simple in function, I focused on durability and usability: proper ventilation, easy access for cleaning and egg collection, and a secure run to keep predators out. Built to withstand Montana weather, the structure balances practicality with charm — a great example of how small-scale projects can still benefit from thoughtful design and solid craftsmanship.
